Looks like this board is dead. Very few members and new signups, days with no posts. I'd like to personally thank those responsible for forcing the closing of the other board. Thanks Dave Well, at least we know Dave isn't a psychic. This boardis what the old one should have been. Thank you Tyler, and to all other contributors.

Just wondering...if it wasn't for the FORMER BOARD, would this one be here today?
Regardless of the FORMER BOARD's HISTORY ~ it got us all here today.....
I'm thankful for "small favors" of all those who kept it running for so long.

I'm thankful for "small favors" of all those who kept it running for so long. That's a good point. None of the surrounding towns have a forum like this and one that has had a history of being so active. (This is the third generation of an Audubon Talks forum)In terms of an initial idea, I think that you have to go all the way back to Zaney, an Internet pioneer - in those days. And, of course, thanks to Roy for managing the longest running board and to Tyler for resurrecting this one. But, the biggest contributor and the one who drew most attention to Audubon Talks was Mr Audubon, the town's horses-@ss who got everyone to visit the board to watch his daily antics, bluster and bravado.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm?
Yet, if true, that Bob was Mr. Audubon ~ didn't he "take over" from Barry and then again after Roy?
So? Wouldn't that sort of mean he was the catalyst?

Foreverthere, Mr Audubon is a catalyst. When he becomes part of the formula he turns it to poison - he is a BOARD KILLER. He did not take over from Zaney, he got Zaney in so much legal trouble, Zaney had to shut down his board, Mr A KILLED it. Mr A then deceitfully started Audubon Talks proboards and sucked Roy into thinking he was running it. As we know now, Mr A was always behind the scenes invading the privacy of posters there for years and threatening people who disagreed with him. In the end, when Zaney exposed him, he deleted AudubonTalks and KILLED IT. So don't ever credit Mr Audubon with facilitating discussions on a town forum. He uses these boards for his own vengeful purposes to attack public officials and other people who get in his way. He contributes nothing to our town's discourse, but slander, deceit, rumors and lies.

Aside from what has been reported as to who MrA is and his reported access to to information, can you honestly say that none of his info was based in fact ? You seem to make it your mission to make remarks about him whenever you get the chance. I think his posts are what kept folks (including me) checking the forum. Please give it a rest.

I don't think that I am the only one who found his posts interesting, provocative, and even funny at times. I understand that you can't help yourself bashing someone who is not here. Doing so proves that you are so much better than he. Bye, fact man.

He can come here and defend himself, if he isn't totally embarrassed as a result of his bad behavior, to face the people here . When Mr A sends 2300 people an e-mail blaming you (using your real name) for the other board being deleted, you can be pissed off too.

Fact: I can deal with it, no problem. Fact: I had nothing to do with the deletion of the old board. Seems like someone wanted to blame others for getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

Fact: The guy you are talking about was a horse's @ss. Fact2: You give a horse's @ss WAY too much legitimacy by talking about him incessently. Let it go brother.
