By finally forcing people to wake up from their Big Macs to the real issues and begin to howl. To break the back of the stranglehold all the pigs at the trough have on this state.
Maybe, just maybe when 'the people' are finally jolted out of their comfort zone they'll FORCE their elected officials to get real...or elect ones that will.
I'm glad the guy is doing what I elected him to do, which is what I hear from many people. It's a wake up call...do you hear it?

I am withholding judgment until this guy is finished with his performance and I see what the State of NJ and the Borough of Audubon look like at the end of his show. Until I see my taxes go down - it's all an act and I hope more than smoke and mirrors to make the State deficit appear to disappear.

So sir if you think he is an act I have to assume you are an Obama supporter. Please do tell I believe he is taking the drastic steps that need to be taken. Let's hope his strategy works. However, there are no guarantees -- but here is what to look for. 1. The State deficit starts coming down. 2. The State budget becomes balanced as spending is reduced. 3. The State and local municipalities can deliver a reasonable level of services after cutbacks and we don't end up waiting two hours for a cop to arrive when we call 911 and our kids still get the same level of education as examples. 4. Our property taxes come down and we are able to cut income taxes and sales taxes or at least they stay the same. I assume that President Obama has the same goals for the nation and knows at some time that spending will have to be reined in, the budget balanced and the deficit reduced. Bill Clinton understood that and was able to accomplish those objectives. Unfortunately President Bush (43) forgot.

Well wake me up when Bam stops spending. I commend the Republicans who forced the ObamaCare back to the house. Its not over until it is over. And take the time to email Congressman Stupak in MI who got three airports for his vote.

And take the time to email Congressman Stupak in MI who got three airports for his vote. We'll wake you up when the recession ends. President Bush (43) wisely decided to create an economic stimulus package before he left office. Unfortunately, he could not get members of his own party to support it, so the bill had to be carried by Democrats. Obama continued the stimulus. While there are a few (like former President Hoover) who believe that doing nothing or creating tax cuts will stimulate the economy to avoid turning a recession into a depression, most economists believe that heavy Government spending is the solution. That includes things like repairing and expanding the economic infrastructure by doing things like building new airports in MI and funding road work, like rebuilding the ramps on I-295 in NJ. When you wake up, the recession will be over, people will be back to work, the financial markets will be stable; President Obama will have balanced the budget, attacked the deficit, reduced Government spending and lowered taxes. 31 million more American will have health care, nobody will be rejected for preexisting conditions or lose medical coverage for any reason. Sleep tight, it's all the end of an 8 year bad dream right now.

Are Congress and several Government Depts. and employees including the PRESIDENT exempt from provisions of this health bill? If so...why? I believe the bill states a tax on the high end medical coverage some have...so my question is...if Government has exempted themselves from this bill, do they, those who have the "golden coverage" have to pay the "tax" and... if it is Government coverage...who pays...the tax payers? or does the exemption grant them this exemption. Some of my pet peeves regarding this mandate regarding coverage is, forcing someone to purchase medical coverage and fine them if they do not relent. Tax on small business who do not provide medical coverage for over 50 employees. Abortion...do you REALLY think taxpayers dollars would not, in some way, pay for this type of birth control? Fools led by Fools ie:congress...it's all about money and getting elected again. Just my opinion.

Fools led by Fools ie:congress...it's all about money and getting elected again. Just my opinion. The President and Congress are on the Federal Employees health Plan. The janitor who sweeps the floors of the Capital gets the same health plan. Do you think it is a good idea to force drivers to have car insurance. In case you are in an accident caused by an uninsured driver, you are limited to what you can collect in a law suit, simply because that driver has no money. Even though most states require drivers to carry insurance, you still need to carry more insurance to cover being hit by an uninsured driver, simply because people break the law. Similarly, those who have no health insurance still get treated when they are sick and can't pay - who do you think pays for their care now. If you are going to allow people the freedom to choose not to buy health insurance, give the hospitals the freedom not to treat them. Every time someone has been turned away from a hospital and dies because they have not had the ability to pay there is a public outcry. If you are not going to require businesses with more than 50 employees to provide health care, then don't require them to pay minimum wage either, do away with 40 hour work-week, overtime, state disability withholding, social security, Medicare and unemployment insurance. Then everyone can experience the same working conditions the coolies had building the railroads in the 1800's. Why should a business have to treat their workers humanely, it cuts into their profits and the stockholders make less money. (Businesses are required to offer a health plan, not pay for all of it)This bill requires individuals or their employers to carry health insurance because they end up getting care one way or the other and their care comes out of your pocket as higher premiums for health insurance or through higher taxes. This plan reduces taxes because it requires individuals to have health insurance and requires insurance companies to make it available and affordable to everyone.

Wow you sound like Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid. The most important thing the citizens can do is vote these Democrats out and repeal this bill. Creeps like Spector and Stupak most go. How about Lincoln and that Nelson both corrupt politicians voted no on the final bill. Fire and brimstone are coming to these corrupt people.
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical. -- Thomas Jefferson

Christie was going to come in and clean up the waste and corruption in State government , lay off thousands of unneeded and overpaid State workers, boot all the bums that won't work off welfare and rein in the unions. You thought none of this would affect you, right - except that your property taxes would go down dramatically. Wrong, think again. "Question... Across New Jersey, the state's proposed budget cuts appear to be hitting average New Jerseyans -- middle school sports programs are being canceled, teachers laid off, bus riders told that their bus has been eliminated. What are you going to tell people who are surprised that the state budget crisis they may have thought was Trenton's problem is now affecting their immediate life?..."See how the Governor answers questions like these, it is time for YOU to pay the piper: www.courierpostonline.com/article/20100329/NEWS01/303300014/Christie-ready-for-a-fight

I will not be reading any of your PM's until you apologize to the US Army, US Army active duty personal, and veterans for the statements you made in this thread. Let me get this straight, You insultated him by saying I was in the hospital for a year, D1ck head, why don't you find a real war. Insulting every current Iraqi War Veteran from all services. In return he directly insulted you and you want an apology to all Army members. HAHAHAHA You have to be kidding me, everybody knows that in the Army you can get a Purple Heart for a boo-boo. The Army wants it so anybody medically diagnosed with PTSD to get a purple heart. The Army came up with a new award for "Not Firing your weapon and retreating". I think the marines are the only ones that shot that one down. You are such an @ss-clown As soon as this guy feels the heat, he pulls his sympathy card. I mean, you gotta respect someone who serves, but does that give that individual carte blanche to act like a douche to everyone that remotely disagrees with him? Apparently he thinks so. He should be honest, he stopped posting here because the snake den reopened. He prefers the snake den because he can act like a complete jerkoff and not get called out on it like he would here. Sad.
