Those ELECTED to Congress/House/Senate/President should be subject to the same rules as to health care they're pushing on the electorate? As it stands now...they have EXEMPTED themselves...but it's OK for you. Your thoughts...how about a reply from Andrews /Mendez and company. Also, should elected officials forfeit their pensions if convicted of a felony?

Every Politician should reside, with their family in the district where he/she won their elections! This includes "average" housing and services ~ not the best! Maybe? They should actually live in Public Housing!
They should also only have access to the health insurance and benefits that serve their communities ~ nothing special!
Should they be convicted of any crime, felony, etc. ~ they get no interim benefits and lose those benefits and pensions!
With telecommunications, there is no reason for them to reside in The District. No travel outside their own State!

I agree, they should not exempt them selves from bills period, not just healthcare. If any one else commited a crime they would not recieve benefits for life so why should they. The corruption is out of control and so is our debt. I also think the earmarks need to stop. One bill for one issue, not this combining troop funding with other bills you wouldnt agree with but have to vote for to get the troops what they need. DC is out of control and out of touch.

Ear marks, in my opinion, are the most corrupt way of bribing someone to "go with the flow". It would be nice if we heard from our elected officials regarding what the "little people" think in matters such as this and the exempt health care issue. "CHANGE"...really!

Say 3 Hail Marys and place $10.00 in the poor box for the Pastor to count and take his/Her administrative share. (Only light hearted joking...no offense intended.) Down here, with all the clapping and shouting and some 'Pastor".. empowered to HEAL"( before donations) and the subject "walks again"...well.. there's one born every day and there are those who "believe"...chaching$. The power of mind is awesome and a mind is a terrible thing to waste...so is a dollar. ( Washington ...do you HEAR us?) Just my humorous opinion.

Do y'all believe Nancy Pelosi, Reid and Barney have the peoples interest at heart or do you believe they are playing political checkers The heck with Pelosi, Reid and Barney - I don't believe those rednecks got you saying "y'all", instead of you teaching them to say "youse guys". Next thing we'll see you driving a pick-up truck in your bare feet with a load of horse manure in the back while you're eating a corn dog. Somebody send this guy a cheese steak and Philly pretzel and bring him back to earth.

Yes as to the cheese steak and a GOOD Phila Pretzel such as Phila Pretzel Co, Can't get no damn good bread down here cause all the rednecks have no teeth so all they sell is soft "sub" rolls ala Amarosa.(oh their from Philly)..yuk. Last year I went into a supermarket and asked for a half pound of "gobbagoule" (Capicolla)...I got a half bound of smoked turkey and another guy behind the counter from New Yuk stated" day dont understands inglish down here"ahhh...but I don't miss the snow or high taxes

I don't know why they don't know what pork roll is past the Virginia border.
