Louis F. Teti, Jr.
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in his daughter’s home, with family and grand dogs by his side at the age
of 92 years, of Audubon, NJ. In his youth, he worked beside his parents at the Teti Bakery in South
Philadelphia, where he got his muscles carrying trays of baked goods upstairs to the storefront. He graduated from South
Philadelphia High School in 1940. He enlisted in the Army and served in World War II. With his wife Agnes (Leiferst),
he opened and operated the Teti Insurance Agency in Audubon, N.J. from 1963 to 1989.
After his retirement he gave 20 years of service as a volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden. Louis was devoted
to his faith, and was a 50-year parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Haddon Heights, N.J. He will be remembered for his
positive outlook on life and generosity. His favorite past time was dancing, aka, “cutting the rug.” He is predeceased by wife
Ann (Maliborsky), son Louis III, and wife Agnes (Leiferst). He is survived by son Paul, daughter Mary (Mary O’Neill), sisters
Olympia Abbamondy, Marie O’Connor, Florence Teti, longtime companion Grace Rodia and her family, including children
Debbie and Jim Butler, Karen and Buddy Logan, Barbara and Mike Bosch, grandchildren Nicole, Christopher, Kelly, Shawn,
Danielle, Brandon, and great grandson Dylan.
His funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014, 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Parish, 300 Kings Hwy,
Haddon Hts., NJ 08035. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society
(PAWS) Attn: Donor Services, 100 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 or the Animal Adoption Center, 501 North Berlin
