As I watch tonight the NC ban on smoking in public establishments I ask My self. When the Liberals get their way and with their hope smoking has been destroyed and straight out outlawed. Who will pay the lost tax. Are we willing to pay 10$ at the pump for a gallon of gas so we can be smoke free in a bar?

Oh! Dear Tyler!
We've never had a conversation ~ but am I ever a great smoker!
Look around ~ what places close? Restaurants, movie theaters, and even the malls are getting HIT!
Sure, you'll hear from the NON-smokers, who really really HATE the smokers (no tolerance, no patience!)...they are willing to pay the escalated COSTS of where the smokers no longer go!
Yet, look at what has happened to those places and their employees! How many restaurants have closed, especially the "beauty" ones of not being part of a "chain", but unique! They are gone, or are on their way OUT!
Hey! Look at the "chains" ~ they may still be "in business", but how many restraunts have survived?
As for the employees? Their hours are "cut" to the extreme, so they have to get second jobs! Even if they have maintained their "hours" ~ non-smokers don't stay around long enough to tip BIG...THE TIPS are the usual 15%, if that! Nothing more!!!!
So cutting out smoking, cuts out hanging around for desserts or extra cocktails, which increases a "bill", so when one is determining their TIP on TOTAL, there's not much there!!!!
I could go on and on.....but anyone HERE from the "original" AudubonTalks have read my theories...no reason for me to continue to be redundant!
